For example, with an 8am EPA and 9am regular park opening, you should arrive by 7:15am to maximise the benefit.
Here's the real scoop on making Universal Orlando Early Park Admission worth it for you: Once you've waited at the gates (bring coffee!), you'll power walk (remember, no running - Universal Team Members will remind you!) to iconic attractions like Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure or Jurassic World VelociCoaster. Even with EPA, expect at least 15-30 minute queue for top attractions like Hagrid's - but here's why I believe it's absolutely worth it: I've personally managed to ride Hagrid's once and VelociCoaster twice, all before the regular park opening at 9am!
Another note on EPA is that at certain times of the year Universal Orlando Annual Passholders get their own entrance! We've been lucky enough to use this and that really is a gamechanger as you can get there a little more towards 8am as you know most people will be in the main queue and you will still enter the park before many of those people.
